Health Care...getting screwed?

I got this in a memo at work today.  Please correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like Obama is gonna screw me because the company I work for (according to the govenment) offers its employees health care that is too good.  Last time I checked it was not as good as a lot of other companies.  In the future it appears that I will have to pay more for health insurance or the company is going to cut benefits.  Could someone enlighten me how this health care plan helping Americans like me?

Congress passed the Healthcare reform legislation a few months ago and it is going to
require us to make many decisions and changes over the next couple of years. The costs
of our healthcare benefits will substantially increase. There is much yet to learn and
government regulations are not yet completed. One concern is that it appears that our
medical benefits fall into the category the new law refers to as a “Cadillac” plan meaning it
is much better than what is deemed necessary. Unfortunately, there are high penalties in
the form of a 40% excise tax that must be paid by having these high benefit level plans.
This and many other provisions in the new law mean we will have to make changes to the
benefits. We have a team of outside experts working with us to try and determine what
changes will be required and to ensure that we are in compliance with the new law.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks I got screwed!

We had a good plan too.  Was covered at my job, and my wife's plan at her job covered any extra cost that mine didnt cover.  Now I got nothing.
My job had to change policy because of the economy AND the upcoming Bambam-care plan, so now employees have to pay nearly $200/month for coverage!  I declined it thinking I'll still be covered under my wife.  Wrong!
My wife's insurance's policy states that if I am employed by a company that has coverage, I must be covered by them (like I got no choice) as my primary.  If I chose not to be, then too bad for me (and they supported our over-rated Prez -meanwhile they're being screwed now-HAHAHA).
I dont go to the doctor enough times to justify paying that, nor can I afford to pay that every month.

Lame.  This crap ticks me off.  Why penalize companies who provide better coverage?  Wouldn't having better coverage allow for those people to be in better health so when it comes time for them to use Medicare they would be less of a drain on the government?
